The New Zealand King Salmon Co. Limited is recalling a batch of Regal Marlborough King Salmon Dip with Gherkins, Capers & Dill due to an incorrect Use-By date label. The product was sold at various stores across New Zealand, including locations in Auckland, Hamilton, and Tauranga.DISTRIBUTION:
The affected product is sold at the following stores:
- Four Square Wainui Road: 102 Wainui Road, Kaiti, Gisborne 4010
- FreshChoice Omokoroa: 160 Omokoroa Road, Ōmokoroa 3114
- FreshChoice Te Anau: 5 Milford Crescent, Te Anau 9600
- New World Eastridge: 209 Kepa Road, Mission Bay, Auckland 1070
- New World Long Bay: 55b Glenvar Ridge Road, Long Bay, Auckland 0630
- New World Te Rapa: 751 Te Rapa Road, Te Rapa, Hamilton 3200
- New World Waihi: 35 Kenny Street, Waihi 3610
- PAK’nSAVE Tauriko: 2 Taurikura Drive, Tauriko, Tauranga 3110
- PAK'nSAVE Warkworth: Corner Hudson Road, and SH1, Warkworth 0984
AFFECTED PRODUCT:
- The Regal Marlborough King Salmon Dip with Gherkins, Capers & Dill
- Packaged in a 190g plastic tub.
- It is identified by batch marking Y274
- An incorrect Use-By date of 0NOV25.
- The correct Use-By date should be 10NOV25.
- This product has not been exported
The correct date mark is Use By 10NOV25. This product should not be consumed after 10 November 2025.
The issue was discovered internally, prompting the recall. The recall was initiated on 24 October 2025. No other products from The New Zealand King Salmon Co. are affected by this recall.
