Rose-Marie Épicerie Multiculturelle Inc. has issued a recall for its "Épices Créole" marinade and various "Chiktay" products due to safety concerns. The marinade may promote Clostridium botulinum growth, and the chiktay products lack refrigeration instructions. These items were sold exclusively at the store in Québec.AFFECTED PRODUCTS

- Lot Targeted: All batches whose label does not include the mention "Keep refrigerated."
PRODUCT: “CHIKTAY COD”
- Format: Unitary
- Lot Targeted: All batches whose label does not include the mention "Keep refrigerated."
They were packaged in glass jars with metal lids.
The issue was identified by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Food (MAPAQ) on June 11, 2026.
