Scarolie's Bolognese Sauce recalled for missing 'Keep Refrigerated' labeling

Ristorante Scarolie's Pasta Emporium, in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) and the Food Inspection Division of the City of Montreal, has issued a recall for its bolognese sauce due to lack of safe consumption information on the product label. The issue was discovered during routine inspections by the MAPAQ and the Food Inspection Division of the City of Montreal. The company is recalling the product as a precautionary measure. To date, no illnesses have been reported in connection with the consumption of this product.The recalled product is the company's "Bolognese" sauce, sold in unitary format. The recall affects all lots that do not have the phrase "Keep Refrigerated" on the label. The sauce was packaged in glass jars with a metal lid and sold refrigerated exclusively at the company's location at 950, boulevard Saint-Jean, in Pointe-Claire.
If you have this product at home and has not been kept refrigerated, do not consume it and return it to the store where it was purchased.
