McCormack Family Farms has issued a recall for several batches of spinach leaves due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The products were distributed nationwide.The products recalled are:
- Product Name: McCormack Family Farms Spinach Leaves, Pack size: 60g,100g,120g,250g, 500g, Batch code: 204,205,206,208, Expiry date / Display until 29/07/2024,30/07/2024,31/07/2024,01/08/2024,02/08/2024,03/8/2024.
- Product Name: McCormack Family Farms Baby Spinach Leaves, Pack size: 60g,100g,120g,250g, 500g, Batch code: 204,205,206,208, Expiry date / Display until 29/07/2024,30/07/2024,31/07/2024,01/08/2024,02/08/2024,03/8/2024.
- Product Name: Supervalu Spinach Unwashed, Pack size: 250g, Batch code: 205 and 206.
- Product Name: Fresh Choice Market Spinach, Pack size: 100g, Batch code: 204.
The spinach leaves recalled originate from Sweden.
Consumers are advised not to eat the implicated batches. Retailers are requested to remove the implicated batches from sale and display recall notices at point-of-sale.
