4 years ago source agr.wa.gov business

1818 Pioneer Highway, Stanwood, 98292 Washington, United States

The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) announced the recall of whole retail raw goat milk because it may be contaminated with Escherichia coli bacteria (E. coli). This product was sold at the on-farm store, directly to private customers via drop groups, and at retail stores in Western Washington.

The recalled product is:
- St. John Creamery raw goat milk was bottled in half-gallon and one-pint containers, displaying Best By dates through 110521 (11/05/2021)

There are no known illnesses associated with the recalled product.

Consumers who have purchased the recalled product are urged not to drink the product and return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.

In case you are experiencing E. coli symptoms such as watery diarrhea (often bloody), vomiting; stomach cramps; and mild fever, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance.
