Strangelove Beverage Company Pty Ltd has issued a recall for its Salted Grapefruit 540ml product due to unintended fermentation. The recall is due to unintended fermentation resulting in the presence of alcohol and increased carbonation which may result in bottle breakage or popping caps, posing a potential safety hazard. The product has been distributed nationally in Woolworths, Dan Murphys in NSW, ACT, QLD and VIC, Coles in VIC, and independent retailers in NSW, ACT, QLD, VIC, SA and NT.The recalled product is the Salted Grapefruit 540ml under the brand StrangeLove, with a best before date of 09/08/2025. The consumption of this product may cause illness or injury.
Consumers should send proof of purchase directly to StrangeLove for a full refund. Alternatively, please return the product to the place of purchase for a full refund.
