Sunshine Dairy is recalling its raw milk due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The affected product was sold between August 5 and August 15, 2025, in Berks, Lebanon, and Schuylkill counties, Pennsylvania, in the United States.Milk from the farm at 9400 Old Route 22, Bethel (Berks County), was also distributed at several retail locations in Pennsylvania:
Swatty Creek Farms, 7725 Lancaster Avenue, Myerstown (Berks County)
Shady Breeze Farm – Corn Crib, 753 PA-419, Myerstown (Lebanon County)
The Farm Store, 113 E. Norwegian Street, Pottsville (Schuylkill County)
AFFECTED PRODUCT:
- Sunshine Dairy brand raw milk
- Sold in plastic gallon containers.
- Milk packaged in plastic gallon jugs
The issue was identified through routine testing required for raw milk in Pennsylvania. The recall was initiated on August 18, 2025.
