Trader Joe's recalls sparkling water due to Glass Bottle Breakage Risk

Trader Joe's, in collaboration with its supplier, is recalling Gerolsteiner Sparkling Natural Mineral Water due to the risk of glass bottle breakage, which could potentially cause injuries. The recall affects products sold in 12 states, including Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas, between December 27, 2024, and January 28, 2025.The problem was discovered during research related to bottle breakage during production. It is estimated that 1% of bottles in the affected lot codes may be impacted. As of the recall announcement, no customer injuries or reports of damaged bottles have been received.
