SAS Pierucci has voluntarily recalled its U Pecurinu and Fior di Pecura brand Tomme de brebis cheese due to the presence of Listeria monocytogenes. The product has been distributed nationwide in France through Wholesalers, GMS, CHR, retail stores. The recall is expected to end on Tuesday, February 25, 2025The recalled product is:
- A 2.5kg whole cheese and cheese
- Sold in the cut section.
- The affected batches are 11153, 8284, 3064, and 8194, as indicated on the back label.
- The product has been on sale since August 28, 2024
- Is to be kept refrigerated.
- The health mark is FR 2B 346 003 CE.
Consumers are advised to not consume the product and to return it to where they purchased it.
