Gippsland Jersey Pty Ltd is recalling its Unhomogenised Jersey Milk due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. The affected products have been distributed in Victoria and New South Wales.The recall involves the company's Unhomogenised Jersey Milk in both 750ml and 2L sizes. The 750ml product has been available for sale at independent retailers including Richies IGA Paynesville in VIC and independent health food stores in NSW. The 2L bottle has been available for sale at an independent health food store in Cooma NSW. The products bear a use-by date of 13/08/24.
Consumers should not eat these products. Consumers should return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund. Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.
