Waiheke Herbs Italian Herb Spread recalled due to undeclared allergen

Waiheke Herbs Ltd has issued a recall for its Italian Herb Spread due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, sulphites. The product has been distributed to various retail locations and is also available online through the Waiheke Herbs Online Webstore. The full list of retail locations is available in the below link.The product recall is the Waiheke Herbs brand Italian Herb Spread, sold in a 200g glass jar. The batch marking is 13 03 24, with a best before date of 13 Jul 2024. The recall does not affect any other Waiheke Herbs brand products. The product has not been exported.
Customers are asked to check the batch and date marking on the back of the jar. People with a sulphite allergy should not consume this product. If you are not allergic to sulphites this recall does not affect you. Customers with a sulphite allergy should return the product to their retailer for a full refund.
