Waimata Cheese Company Limited has issued a recall for its Waimata Cheese brand Camembert, Longbush brand Camembert, and Longbush brand Brie due to potential E. coli contamination. The products have been distributed in various stores across the country. These products are sold in individual foil packages at several locations, including Countdown Redwoodtown, Countdown Richmond, Countdown Trafalgar Park, FreshChoice Nelson, FreshChoice Picton, FreshChoice Takaka, Pak'nSave Palmerston North, Pak'nSave Porirua, Pak'nSave Taupo, and Raeward Fresh Richmond. There have been no reports of illness.The recalled products include Waimata Cheese brand Camembert (110g), Longbush brand Brie (125g), and Longbush brand Camembert (125g). The specific batch marking under recall is 8367, with a best-before date of 28/02/24. No other Waimata and Longbush Cheese brand products are affected by this recall.
