Woolworths New Zealand Ltd is recalling a batch of its Woolworths brand 18% Fat Beef Mince due to potential contamination with soft blue plastic. The affected products were sold at selected Woolworths stores throughout the North Island and have not been exported.The recall involves:
- Woolworths brand 18% Fat Beef Mince
- Available in 500g and 1kg sizes
- Packaged in clear plastic trays.
- The products have a best-before date of 05.07.25.
The issue was identified on July 2, 2025. The recall is classified as a Class II recall.
