Yakis Givré, a food company, has issued a recall for its Samoussa Poulet Halal due to the detection of Salmonella. The product was distributed across France. The issue was discovered through routine testing, which revealed the presence of Salmonella.The recalled product is the Samoussa Poulet Halal, sold under the brand Yakis Givré. The product comes in two sizes: a 330g bag containing 6 pieces (UPC 3770019028353, batch 150925, best before 15/09/2025) and a 770g bag containing 14 pieces (UPC 3770019028377, batch 150925, best before 15/09/2025). The product was sold between 19/03/2024 and 02/04/2024.
If you have this product at home, do not consume it and return it to the store where it was purchased.
Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.
