Zinman Marché de poultry St-Dominique, a Montreal-based company, has issued a recall for its dry sausages due to potential contamination with Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The recall was announced in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) and the Food Inspection Division of the City of Montreal. These products were sold exclusively at Zinman Marché de poultry St-Dominique located at 7010 Saint Dominique Street, Montreal, QC, Canada. As of now, no illnesses associated with the consumption of these products have been reported to MAPAQ.The recalled products include the "Soft Dry Sausage" and "Strong Dry Sausage," both sold in unitary formats.
- "Soft Dry Sausage" / Best-before Dates of September 16, 2024, and September 2, 2024.
- "Strong Dry Sausage"/ Best-before date of September 2, 2024.
Vacuum-packed in transparent plastic bags and sold refrigerated.
If you have this product at home, do not consume it and return it to the store where it was purchased. The recall was initiated voluntarily by the company as a precautionary measure.
