Possible Listeria contamination triggers Coaticook Cheddar cheese recall in Quebec

CFIA announced a recall of selected Coaticook Cheddar cheese by Laiterie Coaticook Ltée from the Canadian marketplace as they might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. No illnesses have been linked to this recall to date.

CFIA advises consumers to discard the recalled products or return them to the store. The list of recalled products is the following:

- Coaticook Mild Cheddar Cheese (50 g). UPC 0 59263 60050 2. Best Before: 03MR20
- Coaticook Mild Cheddar Cheese (180 g). UPC 0 59263 60180 6. Best Before: 03MR20
- Coaticook Mild Cheddar Cheese (320 g). UPC 0 59263 60320 6. Best Before: 03MR20
- Coaticook Mild Cheddar Cheese (2.27 kg). UPC 0260005. Best Before: 03MR20
- Coaticook Mild Cheddar Cheese (1.15 kg). UPC 0260025. Best Before: 03MR20
- Coaticook Bloc Cheddar Cheese (Variable). UPC starting with 0 260001. Best Before: 03MR20
- Coaticook Pointe Cheddar Cheese (Variable). UPC starting with 0 250006. Best Before: 03MR20
