My girlfriend and I were on our way back to Dallas. Ordered at around 1:15PM. I ate a Quarter Pounder combo (fries and Root Beer), and she had the Big Mac combo (fries and a sweet tea). The drink machine had some sort of issue and there was no carbonation so we threw our beverages away after a couple sips. Both of us finished our meals by 1:35PM and boarded our flight. Nausea began for me approximately 5 hours later. 7 hours after consumption I am vomiting and my girlfriend is starting to feel nausea. She begins vomiting 7.5 hours after consumption and we both have a fever. 10 hours later we both develop diarrhea. I tested my first loose stool and it was Guaiac negative, but it appeared dark in color so I will test again tomorrow morning. Currently it has been 11.5 hours and all symptoms have persisted for both me and my girlfriend.The employee who served our food was on her first day. Multiple mistakes were made in the initial ordering process, but that was to be expected and we were patient. Ultimately, we received the correct combo, but size orders were wrong and ingredient requests (no cheese) were forgotten or ignored.
