A popular Milwaukee restaurant suddenly shut down over a long list of health code violations.
The health department inspected Omega Family Restaurant on South 27th Street on Monday.

A report details 26 violations. They included food contamination, debris and mold in food storage areas and a leaking sewage line. The health department said the restaurant could open sooner if it meets all requirements and corrects all of the code violations.
