20 cases of E. coli being investigated in Wisconsin with Lettuce suspected as the cause

Wisconsin, United States

The Wisconsin Dept of Health announced that there have been at least 20 cases of E. coli spread through out the state recently. The investigation is ongoing and they are still interviewing potentially infected consumers. While a source of the illness has't been identified yet, there is suspicion that romaine lettuce to be the source of the infection.

Symptoms of an E. coli infection can vary but often include stomach cramps, diarrhea (often bloody), and vomiting.
