Odd String Cheese Taste - Frigo Cheese, Philadelphia Pennsylvania

My Frigo cheesehead original string cheese is dated August 10, 2023 (24 pack). I had been buying it for about a year and it had become my new favorite, however, the last couple of bags tasted funny. They smelled okay and I didn't actually get sick. This last bag though really tasted odd. I only tried two. The chemical/perfume description sounds closest to mine. I am not trying it again unless the company announces a DARN good reason for the taste being off.
