Afro's Chicken Shop, Cornubia Mall, Blackburn Estate, Mount Edgecombe, 4319, South Africa

Mount Edgecombe, 4319 KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

18th January 2019 , my manager order lunch for us at Afros in Corunbia Mall, we had ordered the chicken wraps, I had eaten only half and taken the other half home, my manager ate his and said that the chicken tasted stale, the next day my husband ate the remaining half that I had and got sick instantly , on the 20 January 2019 at 8 am I had a fever of 38.5 and vomiting and nausea, I rushed to the doctor only to be told I had food poisoning , the only take out that I had , had was Afros.I was off work for 2 days, upon my return to work my manager informed me that he had also gotten sick and was vomiting after eating the wrap. It was far from over for me , I then developed a sore on my lip, thinking it was blister , I treated it as this, and then started getting more until I had gotten and abscess on my chin , which spread to my shoulder and under arm , I had visited the doctor twice and was booked off a week from work. Since having Afros I have been to the 3 different doctors and have incurred costs to R700.00 on consultations and meds, I have scares on my face left by these abscesses.

Its shocking that we support these local businesses and they serve us with stale food that can jeopardize our health. | Symptoms: Fever, Nausea, Vomiting
