13.3.23Ate fish on the Aida Prima.
1 piece tasted funny.
Stomach cramps at night, nausea, severe, persistent vomiting, severe diarrhea the following day.
Very, very many other passengers who ate fish or went to the East Restaurant (Aida) felt the same way. The infirmary was closed due to overcrowding. Passengers were brought to the clinic in Zeebrugge and picked up by rescue helicopters.
No further proper food intake is possible in the 5 days following, from the 2nd day only rice cakes and tea.
Hygiene when wiping the table is very poor: 1 cloth for all tables, wiped back and forth and then set up the “Disinfects” sign.
