I ate Thanksgiving leftovers mashed potatoes stored in fridge for 2 weeks. They looked and smelled fine. They tasted fine. Within 2 hours I was nauseated, shaking, diarrhea, weakness, trouble breathing, trouble walking. It's been 24 hours and I stillfeel, Mashed potatoes | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Other, Weakness, Shaking, Shortness of Breath

You should never eat leftovers from the fridge after 3-5 days. The potential for food poisoning increases every day after that. It's safer to freeze them if you want to eat them at a later date.
