Diet Tea Triggers Illness - Aldi, Bourbonnais Illinois

I’ve drank almost a whole bottle of Benner, their, diet, peach tea and got violently ill, pretty quickly: throwing up but then after it all came up, I had dry heaves for 5.5 more hours, explosive diarrhea at the same time and became so weak. I called my doctor he right away suggested it was food poisoning from the tea and asked me if I thought the peach tea had turned, and then prescribed Zofran to stop the vomiting. My husband picked up the Zofran right before the only Walgreens that was still open was about to close. This was Monday, February 27 and today is the 28th. I layed in bed all day Tuesday and couldn’t eat. I am still nauseous but better. I noticed the skin of my lips were peeling off either from the acid from my stomach or from being dehydrated, which is not something I normally get. I will return the product to the manager when I feel I can stand up long enough to do that. I had trouble with their fresh chicken a few years ago, but I kept being a loyal customer. I just stopped buying the Chicken. Now I will stop buying the diet peach tea. Also, I might add that today Tuesday I was so wiped out from weakness. I slept on my neck wrong and now I Have a lidocaine patch on my neck from the pain. I am 67 years old. I didn’t want to complain, but this has been the most Intestinal episode that has happened to me in my whole life | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Weakness, Dehydration
