Smoked Basa Illness Alert - Aldi, Stoke-on-Trent England

1 year ago reported by user-jhdq4985 business

ALDI, Stanley Matthews Way, Trentham Road, Stoke-on-Trent, UK

Trentham Road, Stoke-on-Trent, ST4 8HP England, United Kingdom

Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps
Suspected source: Aldi smoked Basa fillets.
Onset: Less than 4 hours
Duration: 4 to 12 hours
Sick: Me
Additional information: Two years ago I used to eat fish from Aldi every week, with no adverse effects.
I then changed my diet.
Two months ago I bought 'fresh' Basa fillets from this Aldi store. I became violently ill that night.
Yesterday (29/3/2024) I bought smoked Basa fillets and became violently ill again.
I think that Aldi may have a problem with the care of their fish products. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps
