In-Flight Food Poisoning? - Airlines, Dallas Texas

6 years ago reported by user-hrqv9768 business

American Airlines flight AA21 or possibly British Airways flight 6662 on January 14, 2019

3200 E Airfield Dr, Dallas, 75261 Texas, United States

I and two of my travel partners all started to feel sick at the same time while on a flight from London Heathrow to Dallas on flight AA21 on January 14, 2019. It hit us just after the light snack and about 90 min to landing. We all sat in different areas of the plane and only became aware of each other’s sickness while walking from the plane towards immigration services when one of us said they didn’t feel well and the other two chimed in with their symptoms which were identical.
We all became violently ill while in the Admirals Lounge in B terminal of DFW with severe chills, muscle ache, diarrhea, dry mouth and vomiting. The only common thread of what we ate on the flight was ice and water as I was in business class and the other two were in coach. It could have happened on the British Airways flight from Delhi to London as all three of us did eat the “eggs” on that flight (6662) on the 14th of January as well. Nonetheless, for all three of us to have identical issues at the same time points to food poisoning and not stomach flu. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Chills, Muscle Pain
