Cockroach infestation. The inspector found eight live roaches around sinks and the food-prep table. There were two other critical violations — food was not being kept at safe temperatures and an employee didn’t wash a pan correctly before reusing it — and 12 lesser violations, and it had no COVID-19 site-protection plan. Additionally, the restaurant was operating without a valid health permit after a transfer of ownership. It was given 72 hours to get a permit or face closure for that reason as well. Health officials couldn’t say Friday if the facility was still operating as Antojitos or had changed its name.
