This has been going on for years, nothing seems to be done about it. Hope everyone is ok now. It's such a shame as the hotel is stunning and the entertainment but food definitely let's it down!

Perhaps it could have been a bug? You don’t catch food poisoning and usually the onset is very quick, not 24 hours later?

Hi, thanks for your comment. Onset times for food poisoning vary greatly. Chemical contamination can be within minutes, but there are other pathogens in which the onset of symptoms is not immediate and can show up later (e.g. Campylobacter - 2 to 5 days; E. coli - 1 to 8 days; Vibrio - 1 to 7 days). Foodborne illnesses tend to reproduce in your system where the infection can enter the body into massive loads. If an infection is present, it may take 10 to 100 days to spread. Foodborne diseases generally take 4-24 hours to incubate before showing symptoms but sometimes can come within 6 to 16 hours after consumption. Additionally, how, when, and if you become ill after eating contaminated food will depend not only on the ‘bug’, but also the amount of exposure, your age, and your health.
