Resort Illness Outbreak Alert - Hotel, Punta Cana La Altagracia

Arrived August 8, 2023. 4 Adults, 3 kids. August 12th: 2 adults with nausea and diarrhea. Agust 14th (am): 2 adults and 2 kids (5 and 9) go back to Montreal. In plane 5 year old has 38 degree fever. Next day, 9 year old has vomiting. August 14th 6pm: 2 year old baby became pale, 39.7 fever and vomiting. Had to take her to hospital in Punta Cana by ambulance. Confirmed bacteria in her system. $1300 invoice. Note: at the hospital we meet a family accompanying a 25 year old with same symptoms as my 2 year old baby coming from Amber hotel (which is part of the same resort complex.
