Rancid Scallops, Immediate Illness - Benihana, North Bay Village Florida

Ordered scallops and they came rancid. Completely pungent smell which I noticed as soon as taking my first bite. And bitter metallic taste. Threw up after 40 minutes and diarrhea afterwards. Horrible horrible experience, this place needs to work on checking for expired food before serving it, and maybe retraining all chefs to know what food SHOULD look and smell like | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting
