My husband and I decided to eat a late lunch/early dinner at this restaurant on September 16th, 2021 at 3 PM. We probably should have been suspicious that things weren’t quite right due to us being their only customers, which I did note. However, I chocked it... See More up to being an off hour. It was our first day of vacation to the area. Even though we had lived in the vicinity for almost 20 years, we had never frequented this restaurant before. I ordered the crab soup and an appetizer of bacon wrapped scallops, which is not uncommon for me whenever we return to places along the Chesapeake Bay. When the soup arrived, I thought it strange that the consistency was particularly runny. I guessed that it was just their take on the crab soup. I was extremely hungry when we decided to eat here, but about 1/3 - 1/2 way through the soup, and only having eaten just one scallop, I was in disbelief that I already felt full/stuffed. I expressed that to my husband, as I was mystified and it being out of character. Shortly after, about 1/2 to 1 hour later, strong intestinal cramping occurred, along with extreme nausea to the point of feeling like I was going to vomit (something I haven’t done for over 20 or so years ago). Then, significant gas developed with no gut sounds or feeling of cramping, which was so painful I called my GI doctor back in Ohio to see what I should do. Nothing that I tried helped, and he explained that I was experiencing food poisoning. He informed me that it can develop as quickly as this hit me, and that it could take 2-3 weeks for your system to get back to normal. For me, it took 3 1/2 weeks. I will be much more cognizant of circumstances in the future, as he also educated me on the fact that creamy soups spoil rather quickly if left out too long. Since we ate at 3-3:30, I am imagining that it was leftover from the noon lunch hour. Never again! | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Gas, Cramps See Less

Our waiter was filthy...rude, etc. Not too mention the scallops were raw..not knowing until after I tasted one. I then was into my 3rd crab leg and decided I didn't like the way they were tasting, so I moved onto the cold broccoli they claim came out... See More of the steamer. We returned home and I became violently I'll with diarrhea, became very weak in the knees and was cold and clammy. I will NEVER go back... | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Weakness See Less

I order the steak with scallops and shrimp with sushi. I saw him cook it and though the scallops looks a lil weird but thought to myself they wouldn’t serve bad seafood. Well throughout the night I began to get bad stomach cramps and chills. Well the... See More next day I couldn’t eat had chills all day and no energy and a fever. I stay in bed majority of the day. However, the next day was the worse! I tried eating food during that I started to get dizzy and felt like I was going to pass out. 2-3 minutes later my body went limp and I passed out on my friend next to me and all I can remember is seeing black. I’m then told I began to projectile vomit while still passed out. When I finally came to I didn’t know what had happened and was extremely weak I couldn’t even stand. I was rushed into the ER by paramedics and had to be carried out by wheelchair. This was such a traumatic experience. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Cramps, Chills, Other, Dizziness See Less

Bought raw seafood there Saturday evening. Immediately put a bag of ice on top of it in a good cooler. Drove 45 minutes to rental, cooler inside truck. Put seafood cold full size fridge, bottom shelf. Sunday drove home 4 hours, ice on top of seafood in... See More cooler, inside truck. Immediately put in fridge. Cooked the scallops next afternoon, on grill. Only thing I had to eat. I made scallops last night. While most were well-cooked, I think I undercooked a few of them. Have a bit of gas and liquid stools for about 12 hours now. I’m hoping it lets up soon. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Gas See Less
