Chicken Piccata Illness Report - Bertuccis, Glen Mills Pennsylvania

I was there last night (August 26, 2019) from 6:45pm-8pm. I ordered the chicken piccata that came with the egg noodles and the creamy lemon wine type sauce. I can’t really describe it but I felt something was a little off when I was eating it. I don’t know why. Our bodies have crazy ways of knowing when something isn’t right I guess. It tasted fairly good. When I got home around 9pm, I was feeling a little weird. Kind of nauseous but nothing crazy... I got in bed at 10:30pm, but felt sick laying on my sides so i laid on my back. I could not fall asleep as the nausea just kept getting more intense. I tossed and turned a lot because I was so uncomfortable. Then at 1am I felt an overwhelming sensation of nausea that was really intense. I felt really weak and dizzy and I actually passed out for about 10 seconds. My husband woke me up, and seconds after I woke up, i began vomiting. I vomited 3 separate times about 5-10 mins between each episode and each episode was a lot of vomit. After I felt like I was done vomiting, I tried to get back in to bed but my stomach was filled with so much gas and nausea still. I didn’t sleep at all. I was up every 20 mins with diarrhea. I’m still laying in bed right now at 7am, still feeling like I will have more diarrhea. I’m really dehydrated and my stomach and colon are still going through the ringer. I’ve already called out of work. I’m trying to drink water slowly because every sip makes my stomach a little sore. So I have to drink really slowly. I am 100% sure it was the chicken piccata. The vomit smelled like it and I have never had food poisoning before. This has been the first experience I’ve had with food poisoning. Still healing. Hoping i recover soon. All I know is I won’t be eating there again. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Gas, Dizziness, Weakness, Soreness
