I had their homemade wine, pesto flatbread and tater tots. I had two glasses of wine and ate majority of the food. About 6 hours later I dry heaved and vomited. Next morning I had diarrhea multiple times and stomach cramps. Not sure if it was the food or wine. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps See Less

Last Wednesday, me and a colleague went to the Bar restaurant.
    The staff is amazing.
We asked for some oysters, Tartar and, finally, rosbife. 2 bottles of wine, everything looked to be a great night - it should, actually, for a 225€ dinner for 2 :)
But... See More then disgrace come upon our lives.
At 4 a.m. we started to have the first symptoms of a food poison.
    Still lasting today, Sunday.
    What a horrible experience.
What a shameful and Irresponsible behavior from this restaurant pretending to be top of the “L’art de vivre”.
All I experimented was a medium class kitchen (when you go out to have a gastronomical experience you ask for something you cannot do yourself at home - I can do better), with a top bar staff and a trendy, very nice place to see and be seen.
The food poison is not the first, as I checked.
But I can promise you that will be my last time in that space!! | Symptoms: Gas

If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, contact your healthcare provider; check to see if you have recalled products; do not consume, serve, use, sell, or distribute recalled products.

Recalled products should be thrown out or returned to the location where they were purchased.

Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness. Pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems are particularly at risk. Although infected pregnant women may experience only mild, flu-like symptoms, the infection can lead to premature delivery, infection of the newborn or even stillbirth. In severe cases of illness, people may die.

In case you are experiencing Listeria monocytogenes symptoms, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.

I just found this website or I would have reported sooner! My husband and I went there for coffee and a quick/small breakfast on September 14 (stay tuned as to why I remember the exact date even though it’s now January). He had the bacon and egg... See More breakfast sandwich (which we have all the time as it’s delicious) and I had the vegetarian breakfast sandwich (also delicious and get it frequently). I consumed absolutely nothing else all day.

That afternoon, about 3 hours later, I went to the airport to catch a flight to Africa (this was a 25 hour flight). This is why I know the precise date even though this happened a few months ago now. Made it through security fine, and was walking towards a restaurant to enjoy a glass of wine and kill time before the flight. I sat down in the restaurant and started to feel queasy. My friend went ahead with the wine and I declined, given how I was suddenly feeling. Instead, I requested a glass of water. The server brought us a jug of water and two empty glasses - thank goodness for this, because within seconds of the server putting these items on the table, I started to vomit into the empty glasses. Once that slowed, I headed for the bathroom. Didn’t make it and vomited all over the hallway in the airport. Then vomited more in the bathroom. I couldn’t stop. In the line up to board the plane, I was puking everywhere and had zero control of it. I’m surprised I was allowed to board. I proceeded to use 5 of the barf bags on the first 8 hours of the flight. At that point, there was nothing left to vomit, so I was “in the clear”, albeit felt absolutely atrocious and had to sit in my clothes that had puke on them for the rest of the 25 hour flight. I couldn’t stomach eating a thing for the next 3-4 days.

My husband was completely fine. We are 100% sure it was the vegetarian breakfast sandwich. | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting
