    “Ate at 2 restaurants there. Pelicanos and Asiana. Poor hygiene throughout the entire property. Food is left out for hours especially. Even over heard a couple in the pool saying how they had food poisoning here a few days ago! We asked the GM for Pedialyte, toast... See More etc. Nothing was delivered. No AC anywhere so food sitting out spoils very fast. Being and owner in the restaurant industry myself I can spot bad food handling right away. And they is not handling food safety correctly. Can not stop having severe diarrhea. Even sent them a pic for proof but they won’t even respond! See Less

    - comments: the person in charge during the inspection did not have a city of chicago sanitation certificate.

    - comments: no valid city of... See More chicago sanitation certificate was posted on the premises or such a person on-site when foods were being prepared and served. Priority foundation violation 7-38-12 citation issued.

    3. Management, food employee and conditional employee; knowledge, responsibilities and reporting
    - comments: no written employee health policy on site for all employees on site. Must provide. Priority foundation violation.

    - comments: i observed an employee coring, cutting, and handle ready-eat avocados with her bare hands. Reviewed there is no bare hand contact with ready-to-eat foods. Avocados discarded. Priority violation 7-38-010 citation issued.

    - comments: observed both the prep line and the dishwashing room hand sinks not accessible for use. Prep hand sink noted with dish cleaning tools and metal pan inside. Dish room handwashing sink filled with plastic food containers, piled plastic buckets, and stand fans. Instructed management to make all sinks accessible. Priority foundation violation 7-38-030(c) citation issued.

Also noted are employees at the dishroom three-compartment sink washing dishes with the sink improperly set. No-rinse bin set and no sanitizer in the third compartment sink. Reviewed proper method of manual warewashing and instructed manager to correct. Priority violation 7-38-025 citation issued.

    - comments: observed tcs miso soup in a hot holding unit at 121. 1f. Instructed all hot food must be held at 135f or above. Soup discarded. Priority violation 7-38-005 citation issued.

    - comments: observed the following tcs foods held at improper cold holding temperatures in two separate coolers. Fish eggs @ 49. 6f, crab @ 46. 5 & @ 50. 7f, soybeans @ 44. 7f, shrimp @ 44f, fermented soybean paste @ 54. 3f. All foods discarded. Priority violation see violation #21 for citation

    - comments: menu does not disclose and inform consumers of the specific menu items that are raw or undercooked and a potential hazard of consuming such food. Foods such as raw fish. Must provide a consumer advisory for all menus that discloses and reminds. Priority foundation violation.

    - comments: noted two coolers were are unable to maintain adequate temperatures. Coolers tagged are held for inspection and must not use until repaired and maintains at a temperature of 41f or below. C. D. P. H was contacted for re-inspection and tag removal. Priority violation 7-38-005 citation issued.

    - comments: all bulk food containers must be labeled with the product common name.

    - comments: observed approximately 50 rat droppings and a dead rat in the rear chemical storage area at the rear dish room and 25 rat droppings in the rear storage room at the sump pump area. Last pest control service report dated on 4-23-21. Recommend obtaining pest control service for rats. Instructed to remove all droppings and dead rats. Sanitize all affected areas. Priority foundation violation 7-38-020(a).

    - comments: wiping cloths throughout the food prep areas must be held in a clean container with a sanitizing solution.

    - comments: all stored boxed-to-go items must be elevated from the floors throughout the dining room and all beverages elevated in the front storage closet.

    “7/27/21 Both daughter and I bought food there today ..ate the food in parking lot about an hr later my daughter stated she needed to go home because her stomach hurts soo bad..I said that's strange that the food made your stomach hurt..it didnt do anything to... See More me and she said to me..later it will mom..So here it is about 2 hrs later I experienced diarrhea not sure of what's going on with the food but we both ate chicken finger 4 piece with fries and toast ..somebody needs to know so they can stop serving this tainted food..

    I will not be eating at this place ever again. I just reported..illness from eating there then its said that no illness has been reported

    “Me and husband went together around 5:30 July 24 2021 . I got sick during meal my husband got sick after we got home.
    I not sure but I think it was the house salad because that was what we eat first before any of the rest... See More of meal came because they were behind in orders. About 20 to 30 minutes later I had to rush to bathroom. Went there around 5:30 July 24 2020. We order house salads with ranch dressing house rolls with butter and cinnamon, and Texas tumble weed(fried whole onion) with ranch dip and another dip I think with tartar sauce. Main meals was sirloin steaks medium rare, shrimps, load baked potatoes. Drinks unsweetened iced and sweet and low, coke, one margarita and regular Long Island ice tea. Hentz 57 steak sauce, a butter garlic sauce, garlic toast. About 30-40 minutes for me and an hour for my husband. It was just me and my husband after we eat salad I noticed my stomach wasn’t feeling good was having nausea and with in a few minutes and to got to bathroom it had switched to diarrhea. I got back I felt better. My husband symptoms start about an 1  later he said his stomach was upset when we got home about 15 later we laid down because my husband stomach was cramping, nauseous, he became gassy and has had diarrhea and severe nausea.
