Food Safety Report - Big Y World Class Market, Northampton Massachusetts

2 years ago reported by user-jhqv9264 business

Big Y World Class Market, North King Street, Northampton, MA, USA

136 North King Street, Northampton, 01060 Massachusetts, United States

I got some muffins from the bakery on March 15, and when I went to eat one I noticed after a couple bites that it was undercooked and was just raw batter in the middle. About five hours later I was so sick with nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea that I had to go to the ER. They treated my symptoms and sent me home, but by the next day I was worse, so I went back. I ended up having to spend five days in the hospital on IV fluids and IV antibiotics because the muffin had given me salmonella, which led to appendicitis, and then a severe C. Diff Colitis infection. Almost a month later I’m still having some symptoms. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain
