Boucherie Valmont lean ground beef, veal and pork products - recalled due to E. Coli

The MAPAQ, in collaboration with the Food Inspection Division of the City of Montreal and the company Boucherie du Terroir, located at 2625, boulevard Rosemont, in Montreal is warning the public not to consume and is recalling the lean ground beef, veal or pork prepared and sold by Boucherie du Terroir due to the possible E. coli contamination. These products were sold until August 15, 2023, at the Valmont grocery store located at 2625, boulevard Rosemont, in Montreal. No case of illness associated with the consumption of these foods has been reported to MAPAQ to date.The affected products are:
- Boucherie Valmont "lean ground beef", weight: variable, Refrigerated and Frozen, Packed: July 28, 2023, Best before: August 4, 2023
- Boucherie Valmont "lean ground veal", weight: variable, Refrigerated, Packed: August 1, 2023. Best before: August 8, 2023
- Boucherie Valmont "lean ground pork", weight: variable, Refrigerated, Packed: August 1, 2023. Best before: August 8, 2023
These products were packaged in a transparent plastic wrapper.
Do not consume, use, sell, serve, or distribute the recalled products.
