My SO got very ill & sick and was throwing up for over and hour. We left the play at intermission about 8:25. We ate at 6:30. She had the Fish & Salad I didn't. She ate very light most of the day, and I remember her having 1 cookie at about 3 pm. This happened 3/24/23. I never seen her throw up in the 10 years I known her. A day later I also got sick and vomiting fiercely etc. | Symptoms: Vomiting

That sounds like a stomach flu if it took you a day to get sick & her only a couple hours after eating…

Hi, thanks for your comment. According to the CDC “stomach flu" is one of the common ways to call Norovirus, along with “stomach bug”. Norovirus is a very contagious virus that causes vomiting and diarrhea and it is the leading cause of foodborne illness. You can get norovirus from: - Having direct contact with an infected person. - Consuming contaminated food or water. - Touching contaminated surfaces and then putting your unwashed hands in your mouth. Additionally, wow, when, and if you become ill after eating contaminated food will depend not only on the ‘bug’, but also on the amount of exposure, your age, and your health.
