Symptoms started after about half an hour of eating and he had a fever and was constantly sick he couldnt even have a sip of water without it.making him sick. For four days he coulnt eat or drink he was totally dehydrated lips had started to crack and he had lost a lot of weight. We had tickets to go to eurodisney which we did go to as he still wanted to go. You could see he didn't enjoy it he was quite and very pale. When we got home on the 4th day of this happening he was still being sick and the diarrhoea had started. We were home by this point so we took him to the docs who were uming and aring whether to send him to hospital because of his dehydration the doc gave him 1more night at home to see whether he could keep any liquid down if not he was going to be admitted. We were also given a vile to collect some of his poop for testing which we did and thankfully after 1more night at home he was finallt able to keep down small amounts of liquid and at this point he had now gone 4 days without drink and food it was after a week that he was finally able to eat again and then it was only small amounts it took a month for him to be back to normal and even now he still gets very bad stomach cramps and aches. The results had come back and he had cryptosporidium which the doc said would of come from the chicken from burger King and I forgot to add that it was pushing half 10 at night when we went to burger King as we were all having a lot of fun in cannes. We have also had a letter form the department of infectious diseases asking as to where he caught cryptosporidium and that if we don't answer then they will send someone round to our house to gather all information as to where this all happened | Symptoms: Fever, Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Dehydration, Cramps
