Additional information: My husband got severe headache rather than stomach pain. We both feel much better now (though not completely fine).
I do not want to name the store where I purchased the jar of artichokes because the food was fine the first time we ate it. However, the instructions on the jar say to refrigerate immediately after opening and then to finish the jar within 4 days. I don’t remember what day we first ate the artichokes, but I suspect it was more than 4 days ago. So I blame myself, not the store.
