Hibiscus Drink Illness Suspected - Fresca, Houston Texas

1 year ago reported by user-kmzzf346 business

Cantina Barba, North Main Street, Houston, TX, USA

3701 North Main Street, Houston, 77009 Texas, United States

The tacos were fine (actually quite tasty). Most of our group also had tacos and no one got sick but me… I was the only one who drank a hibiscus agua fresca and I think that’s what did it as 2 hours later I was throwing up and having explosive diarrhea…. I hadn’t eaten anything in the previous 12 hours (we were at a music festival ) so I’m reasonably confident that it was the hibiscus drink that did it…. The tacos were delightful, so just reporting to make sure no one else gets sick if there’s an issue with those drinks… | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
