“On 02/11/20 I ordered two chicken sandwiches with extra tomatoes at 12 o’clock noon. By 5 o’clock I was throwing up and missing work for the next three days. I was sick for two days really bad then went to the manager at the restaurant to tell him I know... it was the chicken sandwiches because I wasn’t around anybody that was sick and I didn’t eat any other food for five days prior. The manager told me the chicken probably wasn’t cooked thoroughly and he had had the problem in the past. He asked if he could replace my sandwich and I said 100 sandwiches would not cover the agony for the last two days. ”
“I ate french fries and the big Carl. 9 hours later diarrhea and vomiting. ”
“He ate there. He ate yesterday at about 2:05pm symptoms started at about 5:05pm. First started with cramps then violent vomiting. ”
“We got the family meal with 16 pieces of chicken, red beans and rice, Cole slaw and mashed potatoes and gravy. Eaten about 6pm. Sickness started as a general off feeling in stomach that night. The next day headache, powerful, persistent vomiting and bad nausea were the biggest symptoms we... had. I refuse to eat from this location again due to multiple other recent submissions on this site about others being sickened. ”
“My father and his two friends got food from there. All three got sick (nausea, vomiting, cramps, diahrrea about an hour after eating. The friends got better after a few days, but dad got worse.
Over time he was vomiting everything he ate and could only handle fluids.... Over the next few weeks he had the following: Increased abdominal pain, diahrrea, vomiting, dehydration, lethargy.
Dad kept getting worse, he thought It might be stomach flu, but I didn't. Dad missed Doctor's appointments (he's on dialysis) on and off, for about a month. He got so sick he missed 2 appointments in a row and hadn't had dialasys for 5 days - which is VERY BAD.
With his dialasis, he sometimes got sick after, but this was different. He was literally screaming in pain and delerious.
They took him away in an ambulance, screaming in agony. He stayed in hospiral 11 days.
Turned out he had an abdominal obstruction and severe inflammation and infection, caused by.....severe food poisoning. They put him on an I.V, had to sedate him, give him strong pain meds, shoved a tube up his nose and into his bowrls. They drained several LITERS of infected fluid from his intestines. They told me that if he'd waited one more day, he'd have died. Died.
This all goes back to the day he went to there. They have always been crappy; missing more thsn one item, wrong change and more than once my hamburger or egg mcmuffin was ice cold and so stale, it seemed like it was in the first stages of rigor mortis. Plus the fries were burned more than once and I'd gotten attitude (from regular staff, not the msnagers) whenever I had to go back and fix the issue (I'd stopped going there way before my dad got sick).
I don't know if any others have suffered food poisoning and/or dysentery at the hands of this particular reasturant, but I wouldn't be surprised.
But, after ALL THIS, nobody I know will even go near that place again!!! ”
“Pumpkin pie The pumpkin pie was a little frozen. I asked them to heat it up. When it came back there was no whip cream on it. So I asked him to add some. They quite possibly or angry at me for sending it back twice so I think they... spiked it with something. ”
“Boyfriend had spicy chicken tenders at around 8:30-9pm. Started feeling funny shortly after: Nausea. Felt sick to his stomach while he was still eating and couldn't finish. Woke up early this morning with explosive diarrhea, severe stomach pain, dry heaving, and vomiting. ”
“Bought groceries around 4pm. Steak (Angus Ny Strips and Salad were in the cart) Placed in the fridge for later consumption. When I took 1 piece of the raw steak, the one underneath had a grey color under it, but the one I went to cook was all pink. 9pm... rolls around, and I cook up the steak until brown all the way through, using salt and pepper to taste. Cut it up, mixed it into my salad. Used Italian dressing (olive garden). 1 hour later, I threw it all up. (I drank Ice Mountain water with it)
Bought steak last week, (exact type) cooked it, and ate it without any issues, but neither pieces of steak had any discoloration at all, so that could mean something.
Conclusion: Steak or the Salad caused me to get sick. ”
“I went for a quick lunch at 2:30 pm on 1-24-2020. Ordered the chicken avacado burrito. I felt very sick at 3 and started vomiting at 3:30. I vomited. Every 20 mins. It got more violent at 5:30. I have been up all night vomiting about every 30 mins or... so. I am currently vomiting bile or stomach acid. Its 8:04am the next day and I got an hour an half sleep. I very rarely get sick so I feel awful. My concern is the chicken was not cooked or the staff is passing some kind of illness. I want to help others to come forward or not get sick. I have dierrea now. Stomach has a lot of pain. I can only sip water which helps to throw up the bile. ”
“Nausea vomiting diarrhea fever. 5 people. We aren’t sure whether it is bacterial or viral. Five people got sick at different time intervals. Three of us ate hummus/cucumber sandwiches on Friday 2/7. Then, four of us ate sub sandwiches on 2/8.
The first person to show symptoms was Sunday afternoon,... the last person started having symptoms yesterday morning.
Symptoms included violent vomiting and diarrhea, stomach cramping, and fever.
We have a 12 week old baby at home who is breastfed, and she is well so far.
I’m trying to figure out the source because I am worried my baby will get sick. ”
“Old Dutch Ripples Cheddar Chips. Both my husband and I ate a handful of the chips around 9:00 pm. Went to bed and both of us woke up sick at 4:00 am with severe nausea and abdominal pain, and belching the chip taste. About a half hour later my husband... started forcefully vomiting. He had another forceful episode of vomiting about a half hour after the first episode. Went to sleep and around 7:00 am he was still experiencing the same symptoms and had another forceful vomiting episode. I on the other hand strive hard to suppress my vomiting...so at 8:00 am I was still suffering from the nausea, disgusting belching, and gas w/ mild abdominal pain. ”
