Enjoyed a birthday meal there with my boyfriend to celebrate his 20th birthday. The service was excellent, and I ordered the mezalluna at the reccomendation of the server. The meal was eccellent we ordered the shrimp scampi for our appetizer and my boyfriend got the shrimp and scallion wessie. Unfortunately around 2 am that night I awoke with a cold sweat and a fever this progressed to me throwing up the contents of my stomach 20 minutes later. In a rest less slumber i tried to go back to sleep but the cold sweat, fever and chills persisted around 330 am I threw up again having a bad bout of diarahia to accompany it this time and horrific cranps that lasted the rest of the night. I had to miss college the next day because I was so weak and fatigued and still suffering from the listed symptoms. Hoping the worst was over I went to work and threw up the small amount of water I had not ten minutes after I drank. The symptoms of food poisoning having continued to persist unabated even with medicine. I am extradionarily disappointed with this experience. I had to miss work and school as a result of it. I only eat out once every two or so months. I had hoped to expect of the health standards at carrabas. My boyfriend did not experience food poisoning, so there is something wrong with the mezzaluna. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps, Weakness, Chills, Sweating
