Food Safety Report - Chipotle Mexican Grill, Middle Township New Jersey

2 years ago reported by user-chkr4582 business

Chipotle Mexican Grill, 1705 NJ-47, Rio Grande, NJ 08242, USA

1705 New Jersey 47, Middle Township, 08242 New Jersey, United States

My husband and I ordered delivery from here on Saturday May 6, 2022 and both of us experienced severe food poisoning within 8 hours of eating our meals. We ate around 4 pm on the 6th and awoke at 2:34 am on May 7, 2022 with awful stomach cramps. Our array of symptoms were: repeated vomiting, diarrhea, stomach cramps, nausea, fever, chills, body and muscle aches, and numbness/tingling and cramping of my upper and lower extremities. These symptoms lasted a full 48 hours, our nausea, cramping and fever lasted another two days. Our medical insurance is out of state and we were not able to seek medical care in NJ, until we went back home to NY on May 8, 2022. My primary care provider said our symptoms are consistent with gram negative gi bacterial infections seen in food poisoning cases. This experience ruined our vacation in Wildwood Crest and mother's day with our moms. After becoming aware of the prevalence of these cases specifically related to the their chains in several states. I felt it was necessary to not only report our personal food poisoning cases but, to also participate in this class action to help resolve this company's incredible lack of proper food storage, care, preparations, and delivery. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Cramps, Numbness, Chills, Muscle Pain
