Food Safety Report - Chipotle Mexican Grill, Winchester Virginia

Ate at Chipotle on Friday, June 29th,2018. Saturday, June 30,2018 i woke up sick. Went in to work and was very sluggish all day and feeling nauseated. By the time i got home that afternoon I had chills and just wanted to crawl in the bed. Woke up Sunday morning feeling like death. I had fever and I was vomiting. Diarrhea kicked in shortly after the vomiting started. 48 hours later I drove myself to hospital. They told me I was close to kidney failure. Admitted me i to hospital where I stayed a full week. on my third day my culture came back as positive for salmonella poisoning. I was informed by the health department that I was not the only person to get sick. There were others. I called the manager and he apologized and had a person from their corporate office to contact me. We got no where. He was on very defensive and really did not seem like he cared about what I went through. I did ask this man what were their intention to help fix my hospital stay. I was a month away from becoming available for health insurance through my job.
He said that he would give me a call. Never heard back from him. Needless to say that I WILL NEVER EAT FROM CHIPOTLE AGAIN!!! | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Chills
