Family Sick from Chicken - Church's Chicken, Dallas Texas

6 years ago reported by user-yqxb7883 business

Church's Chicken, Ferguson Road, Dallas, TX, USA

10295 Ferguson Road, Dallas, 75228 Texas, United States

My mother was visiting us, so she decided to bring some chicken. My mother-in-law later showed up and also ate. My mother, mother-in-law, and I got extremely sick that night with diarrhea, vomiting, and nausea. It's the only thing we all ate in common. My wife called them the following morning to warn them that they sold us bad chicken. A manager told her to bring the remainder of the meal and offered a refund. We thought it was odd to dig up the meal from the garbage, but we did anyway. I brought the receipt and our garbage to her. She looked at the amount, $29.22 and decided not to give me my money back. First she said "How can I be sure the chicken did that to you?" To which I replied, that it was the only thing the 3 of us ate in common that day. Then she went on to mock me and my family for eating the darker looking (crispy) chicken they served us. My mother-in-law and I have recovered, but my mother is still vomiting and has chills. The manager claims that since they received no other reports of food poisoning, this extricates them from any responsibility. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Chills
