Thai Salad Illness Link - Costco,

10 years ago reported by user-kcgv5839

Costco
Ate the Thai salad two days in a row, buy it often because it is really good and easy to prepare. A couple days later I had flu like symptoms but didn't put it together. I had given my dog some of it and he also had diarrhea but I did not understand why. His happened quicker than mine so I never put it together. I kept trying to figure out what I had given him but knowing he had had the salad other times I never connected it. I could not figure out why I felt sick I actually thought it was my lasagna I had defrosted and thought how that just didn't line up, I had sent it home with other's and nobody else got sick. I never would have connected it until I saw the article, than the light went on. I have never in my life had the flu so I knew it had to be something we ate. I tried really hard to go over what I had eaten, I didn't even connect the dog with my own stomach pain and diarrhea. Now it makes sense because we both ate it and we were both affected. It never got so bad I would have considered a Doctor but I put him on special rice diet and I can honestly say my own stomach is still sensitive. I have been so confused at my stomach upset and bathroom trips, this is not at all normal for me. I assume it will continue to get better? If its a bacteria will it just go away? | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Stomach Pain
