Cherry Consumption Causes Illness - Costco, San Diego California

My wife and I ate cherry purchased from Costco (4-lb box) at 10pm July 15. In the early morning of 16th, 5:30 am, I waked up with stomach cramping, then vomiting, diarrhea, and fever. The symptoms lasted for a day and now are under control. My wife had mild symptoms as she ate very few.
