Repeated Illness from Burger - Costco, Temecula California

3 years ago reported by user-fjvt3589 business

Costco Wholesale, Ynez Road, Temecula, CA, USA

26610 Ynez Road, Temecula, 92591 California, United States

This happened last year, but the circumstances were unusual so I wanted to add my experience here. We had a frozen pack of Impossible Burger and the first time just made patties with it. I ended up getting what I would describe as "normal" food poisoning with vomiting and diarrhea. My spouse did not get sick at all. About a month later we used up the rest of it in a spaghetti sauce. My spouse once again did not get sick at all, but I got violently ill. It was MUCH worse the 2nd time than the previous time to the point I was going to call an ambulance because my body could not take much more of the constant vomiting/dry heaves. I have had food poising several times in my life but this was on a whole other level. Based on my experience and the stories of others, it sounds like it may be an allergic reaction of some sort. I do not have any known food allergies, so if there is a specific ingredient that is causing this, I'd really like to know so I never have to go through that experience again. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
