“I ordered a pink drink and the strawberries in my drink were brown and rotten!! I didn’t see them until I already drank some and stirred it around. I called the location and all they said over and over was that they have good quality produce. I’ve been throwing up... for two days now! ”

It was just myself, I was very suspicious eating it because the worker where touching there face and scratches there heads. It was very alarming. The crew wasn't showing anykind of cleanness and the Manger was just as bad. I saw her pick her underwear out if her butt and pull her mask down to talk and rub her nose and never washed her hands ans continued to help her team to make drive-thru orders. ”
“One hour after eating my friend and I immediately had the symptoms of food poisoning—nausea, bloating, Distended stomach, cramping, diarrhea, and vomiting. We both had burrito bowls—one veggie and one steak and both had the same reaction. The guac was noticeably bad so we removed it. But besides that, the... rest of the bowls looks sketchy and we threw them out after a few bites when we noted it. ”

“Fifth Third Bank sponsored a “get together” event for their loyal customers before the University of Cincinnati vs. Temple University basketball game on March 7, 2020 at the Fifth Third Arena on the campus of the University of Cincinnati. Fifth Third Bank had this event catered from an outside vendor,... which included the following food items: chicken fingers, BBQ meatballs in sauce, and soft pretzels with cheese sauce, nachos, popcorn, cookies, and dipping sauces. After eating at this “get together” event, I became sick during the basketball game and I was running back and forth from my seat to the bathroom while throwing up in the bathroom each time. Finally, I decided to leave the Fifth Third Arena because I was so sick and I could no longer watch the game. Also, on the drive home, I had to stop to the side of the road and throw up on the pavement.
I spent $200 per ticket for the Basketball game, which was ruined because of the food poisoning I incurred after eating the food at the catered event sponsored by Fifth Third Bank.
After contacting Fifth Third Bank, my wife was told that someone would be looking into this matter immediately. However, the COVID-19 pandemic impacted the Cincinnati area and all employees of Fifth Third Bank went on lockdown.
I then contacted the Cincinnati Public Health Department about this incident and they then confirmed following an inspection at the site that there were dirty dishes found with the Caterer of the event for Fifth Third Bank.
Since Fifth Third Bank sponsored this “get together” event and hired the Caterer, they should be held accountable for my husband’s food poisoning. Not only was my husband spared after recovering a in a few days, he could have died if he had eaten more than his original plate of food.
Hence, I would like Fifth Third Bank to honor their original promise and afford us $400 for the basketball tickets we purchased for the game which we couldn’t see because of my husband’s food poisoning.
If this matter is not resolved by Fifth Third Bank, I will lodge a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General as well as the Cincinnati Public Health Department so that Fifth Third will be prohibited for hosting any future events involving the provision of food to the general public. As well, I will seek punishment of the Fifth Third staff members who sponsored and setup the event with their assigned Caterer.
After spending the last 4 months trying to resolve this issue with Fifth Third, I am deeply disappointed in the apathy displayed by Fifth Third staff members, including the bank managers at 2 location in the Mason, Ohio area.
Please therefore have someone contact me at the earliest opportunity so this matter can be resolved once and for at all.
“I ordered a veggie bowl on July 27th 2020 at 127pm from Uber eats app. I didn’t not anything all day. I was super hungry. I ate the entire bowl. I started to feel tried like 3-4 hours after consuming the food. That following night I was puking my brains... out and the following morning. Felt horrible but a relief to get the food out. Now I can’t get any food to stay in my stomach and I have diarrhea for like 5 days now and no sign it’s getting better. Been using the bathroom up to 15 times a day. The normal is 1-2 times a day. ”
“I got a mocha frappe about 2 hours ago and within 15 I was literally running to the bathroom. Just one person (myself). I haven't finished my frappe or are any food. I got my frappe around 8:30. All I know is like 15 min later, I start experiencing real... bad stomach cramps, I started to feel fatique and cold. I had the urge to use the bathroom. All I know it was coming out of both ends. For the first 45 min I stayed on the toilet. I can barely walk bc my legs are so weak. Im still vomiting and having diarrhea ”
