944 8th Avenue, New York, 10019 New York, United States
Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, ChillsSuspected source: Not Sure
Onset: Less than 4 hours
Duration: 4 to 12 hours
Additional information: I’m a very big fan of Dave’s Hot Chicken Carolina Reaper tenders and never had any issue consuming them. I’ve travelled across country and if a state would have a Daves hot establishment I was all over it. Not once have I ever had a quality of food issue or a health concern. I also always enjoy eating Daves at Las Vegas, Houston & Arizona.
New York City’s Daves Hot Chicken has done nothing but let me down from both quality of food and of course why I’m essentially here today, health concerns. Within just 2 hours after consuming I’ve vomited constantly almost like the body is rejecting it completely before even breaking it down. Whether it has to do with the spice level or cleanliness of the product, I’ve eaten many reapers before but the one on 8th Ave NY has made me lay on my bathroom floor ready to hit the toilet once my mouth starts to fill up with hot warm saliva, signaling me that it’s time to puke it out.
I always said Daves Hot was my go 2 joint to eat at, but after this experience, I think I’ll be fine without eating there through my entire living life. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills
